The Tea Masters Cup is a worldwide competition which focuses on promoting excellence in tea, advancing the tea profession, increasing tea service standards as well as engaging a world-wide audience passionate about tea and tea culture.
Sharyn Johnston is the national coordinator of Tea Masters Cup National Body in Australia & New Zealand.

Sharyn Johnston has supported the Tea Masters Cup project since the beginning and has co-ordinated competitions in both Australia and Singapore.

On the 15th of November, 2017 the International Tea Masters Cup Board announced Sharyn Johnston as the International Head Judge for the 2017-2018 Tea Masters Cup Competition Cycle worldwide, which was held in Vietnam, December 2018.
"In accordance with the decision of the TMC Board of Directors, a new cycle of the qualifying competitions 2021/2022 was launched on July 21. It was also decided to renew the mandate of Ms. Sharyn Johnston as Head Judge for this cycle."

We enjoy a special tour for a few days after each round of competition in a country and it is at these times that I [Sharyn] have had some of the most beautiful experiences of my life."
Sharyn has judged several national and international competitions and she continues to share her experience and knowledge for the purpose of developing the Tea Masters Cup competition.
